I’m a wife, mother of two college age boys, 3 Beagles, and 1 yellow tabby cat. I’m also a longarm quilter and fiber artist. I’m happiest in my creative soul when I’m listening to some great music and I’m surrounded by all of my artsy goodies, i.e. beads, fibers, paint, etc., all wild, vivid colors. We have a rescue beagle…Bailey! He is such a joy to us…one person’s loss was our joy!
Lynn, I’m so glad you found me in blog land! I soooo miss seeing you on the road. Are you doing any shows?
Thanks so much for thinking about me. Everything came all right…praise the Lord.
We must keep in touch!!
(I don’t see a Follow button on your blog? Am I just missing it?)
I’m so glad to know that everything came out fine! I don’t do shows anymore, but I do go to Road and Long Beach, since they are only a couple of hours from me. I quit selling for A-1 16 months ago. Since you are on blogspot, I don’t think there is a “like” button. I have to add blogspot users to my blog roll, manually. So, will you be at Road to California in January?
Love your animals in the pic. Some days that’s exactly all I feel like doing! Had a great time in Houston–fun hanging out with you. Congrats on your journal quilt in the show.
Hey Lynn,
I know you are a fellow David Cook fan(atic), and I don’t know about you, but now that Idol is over I’m having Cookie withdrawals. So. . . I went on the American Idol website today and looked at some of the photos just so I could relive some of my favorite David Cook moments. Anyway . . . guess what I found!! A David Cook screensaver. Ooohhh . . . you’ve got to have it. Check it out at American Idol. I think it’s under the “Community” button.
p.s. your jelly roll quilt looks great!
Ran across your blog from the Quiltville yahoo group, I am from Bakersfield originally, moved to Missouri 2 1/2 years ago. I also have been to the Quilt & Sew shop on my last visit to Bakersfield. My kids still live there. Nice to visit with you!

Hi Lynne,
I too am from Bakersfield, transplanted to Savannah, MO a couple of years ago. My children still live there and visit often. Ran across your blog from your post of the Quiltville Yahoo group. I’m working on the DD quilt and finishing up the Old Tobacco Road her last mystery quilt.
Good talking with you!
Margaret
I’ve been to Missouri on a few occasions, and I loved it! The A-1 Quilting Machines corporate office is located in Springfield. Were you ever a member of the quilt guild here in Bakersfield?
