I’ve really been working on enjoying the small things in my life, and I can honestly say that it has greatly effected my artistic harmony. (I gently borrow that term from Carla Barrett.) As I focus more on enjoying the simple things, I’m much more energized, productive, and creative. In that spirit, I want to post more of the simple things in my life that bring me joy.

My new Crocs backpack in Graffitti style. I love it!
My husband, Scott, and Chunk, enjoying a lazy Sunday morning.
Carla posted a thread about her new kitty, Oscar, and how he loved a special scarf. My little Chipper has always had a thing about socks. He will stuff his mouth full with one, then whine and whimper as he searches for the perfect place to lie down with it. I call it his woobie.
My oldest son, Zack, who makes me laugh more than anyone else!
This is always the scene when I’m working on a binding. The crisp fall air makes everyone want to cuddle! See all three dogs? Chipper is on my lap, Chunk has his head under the quilt, and Penny is on the small quilt by herself. There’s nothing better than a good snuggle!
May you be blessed with the small things in your life!

Great pictures! That last one really made me smile…too, too cute!
I enjoyed seeing all of your photos but especially loved the one of you doing the binding with your furry buddies close by–helping or perhaps they are just enjoying being near to you. It is a pretty photo of you and I just had to smile at how cozy and content everyone was.
Love your pics! Zack is a cutie. I’m glad you’re finding your artistic harmony, I’m still looking for mine…it’s around here somewhere…maybe in a box….third drawer from the bottom….
Great pics! Glad to see you are putting the binding on my favorite quilt!
Great pictures! They say “Happy family”. They are a joy to see. But that last one of you and your beagles just hits my heart…in a very good way. It makes me want to get another one so bad. Someday…….
I agree… these little things mean THE MOST!
You are adorable sitting there all comfy:)
They sure are good helpers arent they?
That is one great picture! You sewing on the binding with your helpers. Those are the kind of pics that should be on a quilt calendar – hmmm – 2008 is right around the corner.
I’m with Janet – makes me want another one, too – thanks for posting pics of all your babies!
LOVE the pics, dear Lynn!! You know I just adore your whole family (say hello), plus the furry ones, too.
OK, that CROC bag is way too cute, now I see why you love it so much.
Artistic harmony is a great term, isn’t it?
